-Three Miles- Stomach 36 (St 36)

On the outside of the leg, just below the knee, is one of the most effective Acupressure points for fatigue. This is a tonic point which powerfully revitalizes the whole body. People can feel the effects almost instantly when it is pressed firmly. Athletes, as well as hikers and backpackers, use this great Acupressure point as an immediate tonic to release any kind of physical fatigue. To locate the exact point on yourself place your hands above your knees. Your middle fingers will extend to the point. This vital point can be found by pressing directly into the muscle that runs along the outside of the shin bone at a ninety degree angle from the surface of the skin.

BACK SHIATSU-1

Use your thumbs to press both sides of the large strap-like muscles that run alongside the spine starting between the shoulder blades. Work all the way down to the lower back. Notice that if you press the muscle too hard or at an incorrect angle, it will slip out from under your thumb. With practice and sensitivity, however, you will learn how to gradually press into the muscle at the proper angle to give a stable pressure on the point.
